What will you discover at Carlyon Bay Beach?
As you enjoy dinner in our restaurants, take advantage of the panoramic views of our incredible coastline. Just a short walk below us sits Carlyon Bay Beach.
Each year, a number of independent Cornish businesses set up on the sandy dunes below, what will this year bring to the shore?
Returning for 2020 includes the ‘Off-beat Beach Bar’ offering a variety of food and drinks, with a large indoor fire pit for those chillier summer evenings by the sea. Cornwall’s Wave Runner Safari’s are back, offering high-octane water sports experiences including Jet Ski sessions, banana boat rides, stand up paddleboard hire, as well as a variety of beach games.
You’ll also find the OGY1 Pasty Shack, offering a traditional Cornish pasty and a variety of beach supplies. Kelly’s Cornish Ice-cream also makes a daily appearance on the dunes.
If you wish to have a relaxed start to your weekend, try out a Yoga class with Emma at ELM Yoga. She is running a class on the beach each Saturday morning at 10am for £10.
The newest addition for 2020, sure to please adrenalin seekers, is ‘Bounce on the Beach’ – an outdoor Bungee Trampoline.
However you choose to spend your day at Carlyon Beach, be sure to ask our award-winning kitchen to prepare you a fresh picnic lunch to take away. Not forgetting children’s packed lunches are free for our residents.
You can follow Carlyon Beach on Facebook and Instagram to be kept up to date with their summer itinerary:
