Phase 1, 2 & 3 Complete!

A complete transformation of our main lounge bar & drawing room has seen them both reopen along with the Spa Bar

Perfect for cocktails, lunches, afternoon teas along with the magnificent sea views the modern yet comfortable design complements the spectacular terrace.

The continuing investment by the Brend family through the year has also seen the complete refurbishment of the ladies public toilets. 

Terrace Lounge & Spa Bar Refurbishment

The complete refurbishment of the Terrace Lounge & Spa Bar areas commenced on Monday 13th January. The refurbishment took place over the course of three stages, ensuring that there would be two sea-facing areas available for guests to enjoy. The first stage saw the Lounge Bar refurbished, followed by the Drawing room & then finally the Spa Bar.  

The refurbishment included an entirely new bar area, decor, sofas & furnishings, curtains and lighting throughout both bars.

The plan that had been designed by the Directors, kept the comfort that the Terrace Lounge area is well-known for in mind whilst ensuring it was in keeping with our Art Deco look, with the end result bringing a more modern feel.

During the refurbishment, we were limited to the number of non-residents we could take, but we still had reduced areas open for our guests to use. Our guests' comfort and interests remained the priority of the hotel during this time and disruption was kept to the bare minimum where possible.

We look forward to welcoming all our guests to our new space and enjoy this fantastic addition to our hotel.
