Cornwall Tourism Awards Gold Award Success

We are delighted to have won Gold for the 2nd successive year at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2021/22 in the Large Hotel of the Year category.

This followed our success in the South West Tourism Awards in 20/21 for the same category where we were against some fantastic competition.

2021 in Cornwall was such a unique year with the hotel not opening until May, the attention of the world with the county hosting the G7 summit and we were proud to play our part with the Marine 1 flight plus the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge.

This award could not have been possible without all of our fantastic staff throughout the resort. From the front-of-house staff that are seen by our guests, to those behind the scenes that ensure the smooth running and continued success of the hotel. It has been an exceptionally hard year within the hospitality sector and without the dedication and hard work of our colleagues.

Continued investment by the Brend Group in 2021 included the Terrace Lounge & Spa Bar enjoying a complete renovation, the refurbishment of bedrooms & bathrooms, installation of boilers, and other behind-the-scenes projects. 2022 continues with more bedrooms & bathrooms being refurbished, the car parks of the hotel being resurfaced, the modernising of the lift as well as the redecoration of the Taste Brasserie.
