Carlyon Bay Hotel Reopens

We are delighted to announce that the Carlyon Bay Hotel, reopened its doors on Saturday 4th July, welcoming both old & new guests. We have worked hard to ensure that we are Good To Go and this allowed us to receive the official accreditation by Visit Britain ensuring that we adhere to both the UK Government and Public Health England advice and guidelines.

During your stay with us, you can be assured that we will endeavour to ensure you have an enjoyable experience and it will be a holiday with so many great memories. Located along the coast our 250 acres offer glorious views and you can guarantee to find a place of solitude and enjoy the peace and quiet only a coastal holiday can bring.

For those wishing to relax our terrace offers luxury and gets the sun all day long to enjoy a coffee, cocktail, light lunch or afternoon tea; whilst the Championship Golf Course offers a challenging but fair course so is suitable for all standards. Our Golf Professionals are more than happy to arrange tuition whilst you are here, offering you a chance to improve your golf, whilst still able to relax in luxury.

Our award-winning Bay View Restaurant is the place to start and finish your day with a filling breakfast and dinner made with the finest local ingredients including locally-sourced fish and meats.

Our new bar & lounge areas have been completed and offer a comfortable yet luxurious modern place to sit back and enjoy one of the many local drinks that we have available in our bar.

Our under 15's get some additional freebies throughout their stay including free lunches, soft drinks & ice creams. Our packed lunches are also free for our Under 15's if you are out for the day.

What to do whilst you are here...

Just a 5-minute walk from the hotel is the Carlyon Bay Beach offering 3 miles of sandy beach with pop up dining and bar areas. Some of the activities on offer through our friends at Cornwall Waverunner Safaris include stand up paddleboarding, jet-ski sessions and banana boat rides. Don't forget to order your packed lunch with us to take with you.

If you wish to travel away from the hotel, being centrally located in Cornwall we are lucky that you have such a variety of places to visit & attractions to see. Just a few of our favourites include the world-famous Lost Gardens of Heligan & Eden Project where you can get discounted tickets from our reception team are just a short drive from the hotel. Based at the Eden Project is the adrenaline-fuelled Hangloose, perfect for those daredevils amongst you!

For a more sedate time, why not enjoy some of Cornwall's National Trust and English Heritage properties, including Lanhydrock House, Minack Theatre and Tintagel Castle or a serene walk along the South West Coast Path or go to the historic Lands End.

For families, the list includes Flambards Theme Park, or Cornwall Football Golf offering great days out and burn off that energy that the children are full of.
