Proud to be an official
Junior Hub
We’re absolutely delighted to share that Carlyon Bay Golf Club has officially been awarded Junior Hub Club status by England Golf and the Golf Foundation.

Our dedication to
Growing the game
At Carlyon Bay Golf Club, achieving Junior Hub Club recognition from England Golf and the Golf Foundation is a proud milestone for us. This award reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to nurturing junior golf by providing a clear development pathway from beginner to advanced levels.
We offer regular coaching with our qualified PGA professionals in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Our strong links with local schools and community groups, combined with dedicated volunteer support and a passionate junior organiser, have helped us create a thriving programme for young golfers.
This recognition highlights our dedication to growing the game and ensuring the next generation of golfers has every opportunity to develop and succeed at Carlyon Bay.
A Milestone for Junior Golf
Director of Golf at Carlyon Bay Hotel - Peter Brennan, had this to say about Carlyon Bay Golf Club’s wonderful achievement:
“We are delighted to have received the Junior Hub Status from England Golf. Carlyon Bay has a long tradition of welcoming young people into the game, nurturing and coaching them to allow them to achieve their full potential. Proof of the success of the Carlyon Bay process can be clearly seen, our resident pro Grant Slater, PGA Professional Emily Toy, 5 times club Champion Sam Crocker, and many of our victorious 2025 CTC team were all juniors at the club, along with many of the Junior county team players.
Hub status is a great accolade for the club and also quite rightly illustrates the hard work and devotion of our Junior organiser Justin Williams, the junior committee coaching from Grant which, along with the support from the club makes the junior section the successful, vibrant entity that it is, Junior golf is the future of the game and the future looks pretty good at Carlyon Bay.”
