Using the TrackMan Golf Simulator Safely
Your safety is our priority. To ensure everyone enjoys a safe and enjoyable experience, please read and follow the guidance below before using the TrackMan Golf Simulator.
Using the TrackMan Golf Simulator is a fun and enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities. By following these simple safety guidelines and showing consideration for other players, you'll help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit to Carlyon Bay Golf Club.

- Please arrive 10 –15 minutes before your booking.
- Only players taking part in the session should be inside the simulator bay.
- Ensure you have enough space before making a practice or full golf swing.
- Warm up gently before hitting your first shots.
Always check that the area around you is clear before swinging a club.
- Never swing a club if another person is within your swing radius.
- Be aware of players standing behind or beside you.
- Only one person should swing a club at any one time.
- Keep all spectators well behind the designated hitting area.
Children are welcome to use the simulator but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Children should never swing a golf club without adult supervision.
- Use your own clean golf clubs or those provided by the club.
- Only use the golf balls supplied or approved for use in the simulator.
- Please check that club heads are secure before use.
- Do not use damaged clubs or damaged golf balls.
Please wear clean golf shoes or soft-soled trainers.
To help protect the simulator surface, avoid footwear that is excessively dirty or could damage the flooring.
For everyone's safety:
- Only one player should stand on the hitting mat while playing a shot.
- Wait until the previous player has completely finished before stepping forward.
- Never walk in front of someone preparing to hit.
- Always remain aware of where clubs are being swung.
Food and drinks are welcome within the simulator studio; however:
- Please keep all drinks away from the launch monitor, projector and touchscreen equipment.
- Take care not to spill liquids on the hitting mat or flooring.
- Dispose of rubbish responsibly before leaving.
Alcohol should be consumed responsibly. Anyone behaving in a manner that could compromise the safety or enjoyment of others may be asked to end their session.
Our TrackMan simulator is a high-quality piece of equipment.
Please:
- Treat all equipment with care.
- Do not strike the screen intentionally.
- Do not tamper with the launch monitor, projector or other technical equipment.
- Report any faults or accidental damage to a member of staff immediately.
- Report any accidents to the Clubhouse manager immediately.
- Report and damage to premises or equipment to the Clubhouse manager
- Users are financially responsible for any damage caused to club property or equipment
- Should rules fail to be observed, the session will be ended without any refund
Please help us create an enjoyable environment for everyone by:
- Keeping noise to a reasonable level.
- Following instructions provided by club staff.
- Leaving the simulator tidy at the end of your booking.
- Finishing your session promptly to allow the next booking to begin on time.
If you begin to feel unwell or experience discomfort while using the simulator, stop playing immediately and inform a member of staff.
In the unlikely event of an emergency:
- Stop play immediately.
- Follow the instructions of club staff.
- Leave the simulator area via the nearest safe exit.
- Do not re-enter the area until advised it is safe to do so.
