Booking Your Tee Time
To secure your spot on the course, simply book directly by calling reception (dial 0 from your room) or contact the pro shop on 038.
Collecting Your Voucher
Each morning, pick up your golf voucher from reception. Exchange this voucher at the pro shop for a day bag tag, which should be displayed on your golf bag while on the course.
Dress Code
Please adhere to the club’s dress code while on the course - smart, comfortable golf attire is required.
Equipment Care
Weather in Cornwall can be unpredictable. Our hotel drying room ensures your golf equipment stays in top condition. If your clubs get wet, our porter will gladly take them overnight for drying so you can be ready for the next day’s challenge.
Membership Perks for Hotel Guests
As a hotel guest, you temporarily become a member of Carlyon Bay Golf Club. Enjoy the clubhouse, its relaxed and varied food offerings, and club prices for drinks at the bar.
Getting to the Course
No need to drive, our concierge can arrange a 6-seater buggy transfer from the hotel to the clubhouse. Please note that any buggies hired for the golf course cannot go back to the hotel.
Pro Shop Benefits
Hotel guests receive discounts on Carlyon Bay branded clothing and equipment at the pro shop.
Dining and Refreshments
The clubhouse is open daily for refreshments and lunch, and charges can be conveniently added to your room account.
Practice and Training
Take advantage of our state-of-the-art simulator studio, open from 8am. Book your session via reception. Additional rounds are available for £25, and we also offer lessons and custom club fittings.
Short Game Options
Pressed for time? Try our Shoreside 9 or the Approach Course around the hotel grounds. No booking is required, just bring a putter and pitching wedge for a true test of your short game.
Course Etiquette
We encourage all players to “Play Their Part”, avoid slow play and repair divots. Watch for the 1st tee message about the cliff, and don’t miss the 18th hole for a memorable finish.
Course Features
Enjoy a range of digital and on-course features designed to enhance your golfing experience at Carlyon Bay Golf Club. Use QR codes for the full course index, the 18-hole scorecard (including the garden walk to the course and practice nets), and the 9-hole scorecard. Access a detailed map showing the course layout and routes to the club and practice ground. Take part in our exclusive Hole-in-One Club, land a hole-in-one on the course, and you’ll receive a certificate, a commemorative photo, a bottle of prosecco, and your name proudly listed on the Hole-in-One Roll of Honour.
