Telephone Call Charges - All UK-wide landline and mobile numbers made from your room phone are charged at 25p a unit. International and premium rate numbers incur additional charges.

Should you find it necessary to cancel or curtail your stay, full accommodation charges will apply. (as per our brochure terms and conditions).

During your stay all purchases may be charged to your room including at the Carlyon Bay Clubhouse. We accept most leading credit/debit cards with a pin number. Any extras that are charged to your room will be taken the morning of your departure by the card provided. Your bill will be emailed to you, or a copy can be printed upon request. However, complete accounts may not be forwarded on for payment unless credit facilities have been previously arranged. Guests staying for longer periods must settle their account every 7 days.

On the day of arrival the rooms are available from 3pm; however you may wish to use our facilities prior to occupying your room. On your day of departure, it is requested that guests vacate their rooms by 11am and the hotel facilities may continue to be used. Extensions to these can be arranged at an extra cost of £10 per hour, until 1pm. (Porters are available to store luggage for you). Night duty managers are on duty throughout the night. Although we cannot guarantee a set time each day, your room will be serviced throughout your stay between 9am and 3pm daily. Should you have any specific requirements, please contact the housekeeper via reception by dialling 0.

For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, we are pleased to offer a range of pillows should you prefer a different pillow filling/style.

  • Goose Feather & Down Pillow: Filled with a combination of the finest 85% goose feather and 15% goose down. This pillow provides a firm yet comfortable feel. It is enclosed in a luxury 100% cotton cambric case, with cotton piped edges.
  • Goose Down Pillow: Filled with the finest Goose Down. This pillow is pure luxury and encased in a 100% cotton cambric luxury cover. A truly sumptuous soft-down pillow.
  • Memory Foam Pillow: The Memory Foam Pillow is designed to offer the ultimate comfort and support in all sleeping positions. It is made from moulded Visco elastic memory foam. This pillow is ideal for people who suffer from allergies and those with neck or back pain.

Should guests prefer sheets & blankets to our usual duvets please let reception know and we can arrange to have this changed.

To maximise the comfort of our guests during their stay mattress toppers are available upon request. Please liaise with our housekeeping department for more information or contact reception.

Should you require dry cleaning during your stay, a 72-hour delivery service is available and a small handling charge will be incurred. Please contact reception if you require our hotel's in-house laundry service, and charges apply. Excluding Sundays and bank holidays. Please be aware this may take up to 24 hours. Ironing facilities are available by contacting reception.

FREE Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel via Brend Hotels Wifi and please follow the instructions from the pop-up window. Please contact reception if assistance is required.

Out-of-hour doctors and dental services; Telephone support for long-term conditions; Pre and post-operative support; 24-hour response to health scares. For minor cuts and bruises, first aid kits are available from reception 24 hours, as well as trained first aiders. 

Within easy driving distance of the hotel is a wealth of attractions to suit everyone. For a day out with a difference why not try one of the following: Cornwall’s most famous attraction, ‘The Eden Project’ – only 2 miles away, Pinetum Park, Flambards Theme Park, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Bodmin Jail, Wheal Martyn, Lanhydrock House (National Trust), or Land’s End. We have also arranged exclusive discounts for our guests which can be found on our website here.

The Management wish to inform you that our responsibility for loss or damage to any article or articles of value whilst at our Hotel is restricted to the terms of the Hotel Proprietor’s Act 1956  i.e £100 per guest. All bedrooms have their own safes and we recommend that these are used. However, guests are recommended to maintain their own insurance cover on the items in question as the hotel cannot accept the responsibility for any valuables.
