Perfectly located right in the heart of Cornwall
One of the advantages of our stunning coastal location in St Austell, Mid Cornwall, is that it puts you within easy reach of the very best that Cornwall has to offer. The world-famous Eden Project is just minutes away and we are moments from the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan.
When you are planning what to do and where to visit, here are just a few of our favourites:
In the very next bay to us is the historic harbour of Charlestown, which has featured prominently in the BBC’s Poldark series; a few miles to the east is the stunning estuary town of Fowey, where Daphne du Maurier kept a home for many years; Falmouth stands on one of the largest natural harbours in the world and has a superb Maritime Museum; the famous Land’s End is not to be missed, and just over an hour away you'll find the blue waters of Sennen Cove. Marazion has sweeping views across to St Michael’s Mount, Newquay has world-class surfing beaches, Tintagel Castle is steeped in Arthurian legend and Padstow is home to Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. If that wasn't enough, Cornwall’s city of Truro has a lovely cathedral, with cobbled streets brimming with fascinating shops and St Ives features Cornwall’s very own Tate Gallery and has a beauty that has inspired artists from all over the world.
Whatever you are looking for in your coastal escape, Cornwall has it all.
