Connecting London to Cornwall

Travelling between Cornwall and London has never been easier, with faster and better connections developing year on year. This is helping people from all over the country reach the beautiful shores of Cornwall with ease. 

Car
It takes just less than five hours to drive from the centre of London to the heart of Cornwall by car. You can either drive down the M4 to M5 from London, taking the A30 or A38 after Exeter right down to Cornwall. If you wish to avoid the motorway for as long as possible you can to take the A303 from London, with a short journey on the M5 before joining the A38 into Cornwall. 

Coach
National Express offers a daily service down from London to Cornwall, with tickets varying from £14.60 to £22.60 depending on your time of travel. The tickets are often cheaper if you book in advance.

Air 
Perhaps the quickest way to reach Cornwall from the capital is by air. Flybe now offer year round flights from London Gatwick or London Stansted to Cornwall Newquay Airport! These flights have cut down the journey to 1 hour and 10 mins and can be for as little as £67.

Train 
There are regular train services taking you from London to Cornwall. You can jump on at London Paddington and arrive at St. Austell train station (close to Carlyon Bay Hotel) in as little as 4 hours & 3 minutes!
