Best Large Hotel In Cornwall
We are delighted to have been awarded Best Large Hotel in Cornwall at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 20/21 added to our 4 AA Silver Stars award. This prestigious award ceremony showcases the best that the county has to offer throughout the tourist industry and following what has been an unprecedented year within the hospitality industry we are prouder than ever.
2020 started with the complete refurbishment of the lounge & bar areas to complement the terrace completed the previous year and continued into March where we ended up in the first national lockdown. We reopened on July 4th with enhanced protocols and new procedures yet all of our guests stated that it felt so much like the usual holiday they expect to receive with us. An exceptionally busy summer period continued throughout the entire year, and our team has done the hotel proud. This current lockdown has seen further extensive refurbishments and improvements with all of our investment aimed at ensuring our guests' expectations are always exceeded.
This award as we start to finalise our preparations to reopen the hotel once again on May 17th, gives us the extra motivation to ensure that every guest gets to enjoy Carlyon Bay and see why we are the best hotel in Cornwall.
