We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a focused individual to join our Maintenance team. Working within our 250 acres, the role will be perfect for someone who enjoys working outside. The award-winning Carlyon Bay Hotel is a 4* Star luxury 86 bedroom hotel positioned directly on the seafront with stunning views across Carlyon Bay. You will work as part of an experienced team whose work is essential to the hotel and will be provided with excellent training and development.

To be successfully recruited you must have:

·   Previous experience of landscaping, & exceptional gardening skills

·   Ideal candidate would have some knowledge of golf courses though not essential

·   Good Knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in grounds and landscape work

·   General maintenance skills would be a bonus

·   Spraying license

·   Drivers' license

·   Pro-active and reliable

·   Knowledge of Health & Safety processes

·   Good communication skills

·   Can work well independently

·   Strong sense of urgency


    Your Duties  as a Gardener/General Assistant :

·   Perform general maintenance & tidying to hotel and clubhouse grounds (incl moving,edging,weeding,planting borders,hedge   trimming,irrigation)

·   Communicate daily with both maintenance manager & the head greenkeeper and undertake any requests

·   Ensure the hotel grounds are maintained befitting of its status

·   General upkeep of areas on all properties owned by the hotel​

·   Performs other related tasks as assigned by management

·   Ensure all health & safety requirements are met including working in a Covid Secure way following the Groups procedures

·   Undertake training courses

40 working hours 5 days out of 7
